Mr. Bartee meant so much to the Morgan family - our parents, the six children and all of their (our) children. His advice and guidance with our 4H calves and lambs, our cattle herd and pastures, will always be remembered. He helped change alot of lives. We will miss him. The Cecil Morgan Family

Mr. Bartee was a true Southern gentleman. He was always willing to help in any way that he could, and had the most pleasant attitude as he helped. He always seemed to have plenty of time for each individual and treated all equally well. I know that you will miss him deeply and pray that the Father will comfort you in your grief.

The Ballard Bartee Family and the J.C. Sanford family swapped farm chores in the Trenton/Pembroke, KY area for years in the 1950s. The Sanfords had 10 children and although the Bartees only had one, we were great community friends and activists. J.C. Sanford III and his remaining seven sisters want to wish the Bartee family our deepest condolences on the loss of John. We have known John for almost all his life and we know that he was a good man who made the world a better place for having been here. His widow and children and grandchildren are in our prayers.

I wish I could give you a hug, but will ask God to surround all of you with His love, strength, and peace. Your loss is heaven's gain, but that sure doesn't help the pain, only God can ease that. My dad thought so much of your dad, so I know he was there to meet him when he arrived. May you feel the love and support of all us who love you as we send up our prayers on your behalf. May you know the peace that passes all understanding in the days to come. Know you are loved and prayed for by many who loved and thought so much of your dad & love each of you.
