Gregory Joseph Brand, age 60, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare. 

Gregory was born August 9, 1957, in Ashland, AL, to Josephine Barton Brand and the late Leonard W. Brand.

Gregory attended First Baptist Church of Clarksville and was a retired US Army veteran.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, October 6, at 11:30 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Pat Van Dyke officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, where full military honors will be rendered. Visitation will be Thursday, October 5, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Friday, October 6, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

In addition to his mother, Gregory is survived by his wife, Sheila Morrison Brand of Clarksville; two sons, Gregory Joseph (Lindsay) Brand II of Calera, AL and Jason Ray (Dana) Brand of Southside, TN; daughter, Lacey (Heath) Hughes of Wilsonville, AL; brother, Jay (Jane) Brand of Clarksville; and four grandchildren, Layne Brand, Ava Greer Hughes, Bryson Brand, and Layla Westyn Hughes. 

Pallbearers will be Jason Brand, Greg Brand, Jeff Mallory, Steve Caudill, Chris Collins, and Steve Claxton. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Younce, Dakota Ellsworth, Mike Gibbs, Chuck Newell, Charlie Newell, Randall Gill, and Matt Moore.
