John "Jack" W. Himes, age 84, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Springs Meadows Healthcare Center.

Jack was born August 13, 1932, in Cleveland, OH, to the late William Himes and Lillian Wilm Himes. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Theresa Himes.

Mr. Himes was the Vice President and General Manager of Contech, LLC. He was also a volunteer for United Way. Jack loved his dog Betty and taking care of his yard.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, February 28, at 11:00 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Deacon Dominick Azzara officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 28, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the church.

Jack is survived by his son, Allen John Himes of Clarksville; daughter, Shelley Himes of Nashville; and one grandchild, Cali Marks of Hendersonville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Way, 529 N. Second Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
