Muriel B. Davis, age 95, of Adams, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018. 

Muriel was born December 4, 1922, in Cheatham County, TN, to the late Z.B. Balthrop and Ruthie Winters Balthrop. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gilford Davis; three brothers, J.C. Balthrop, Russell Balthrop, and John Martin Balthrop; one grandson, Little John Davis; and a daughter of her heart, Sharon Nichols. 

Muriel was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and Farm Bureau Women.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, February 12, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Jackson and Bro. Al Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 11, from 12:00 to 6:00 PM, and Monday, February 12, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Muriel is survived by two sons, Mike (Fran) Davis and John (Karen) Davis, Sr., both of Adams, TN; daughter, Ginger (Mike) Williams of Adams, TN; sister, Sue Boyd of Ashland City, TN; three grandchildren, Brittnye (Paul) Farley of Adams, TN, Eric (Kelly) Williams of Clarksville, and Stacey (Mason) Boisseau of Clarksville; three great grandchildren, Annie Williams, Reese Boisseau, and Rhea Ann Boisseau; daughter of her heart, Nelda Myers; and her loving dog, Chrissy.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Balthrop, Mike Williams, Eric Williams, Mason Boisseau, Randy Davis, and Paul McCaslin. Honorary pallbearers are Carney Elliott, Joe Elliott, William Elliott, Brian Price, Paul Farley, Andy McCallister, Ron Masters, and Adam Little.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harmony Baptist Church Building Fund, 4303 Harmony Church Road, Adams, TN 37010.
