Amber Leigh (Wertz) Brockett

Amber Leigh Wertz Brockett, age 40, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

Amber was born July 6, 1982, in New Castle, PA, to Robert Wertz and Elaine McDeavitt Wertz.

In addition to her parents, Amber is survived by her husband, Lucas J. Brockett; three sons, Owen Brockett, Trent Brockett, and Lucas Brockett; two daughters, Elaina Brockett and Ruby Brockett; four brothers, Jay Wertz, Joe (Melinda) Wertz, Sam (Laura) Wertz, and Dan (Meg) Wertz; sister, Holly (Stephen) Rosenblum; adored nieces and nephews, Noah, Abbey, Shaina, Addie, Xander, Dominic, and Autumn; sister-in-law, Shelby Wertz; and her beloved dog, Luna.

Mrs. Brockett was a registered nurse at Skyline Medical Center, where she was cherished by every patient she cared for. She was a loving wife and dedicated mother. Amber enjoyed decorating for each season and each holiday. She was one in a million.

A  service will be held Sunday, September 18, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Harriet Bryan officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in New Castle, PA.
