Charlotte Helen Wilson, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Tennova Healthcare.

Charlotte was born in Livonia MI, to Edward Meining and Helen (Westfall) Meining on 1-29-1934 and was born at home on the family farm at 14023 Farmington Rd. She had 1 older brother, Orville Meining.

Charlotte is survived by 2 children, Lois Kitchen Greider (Kevin Greider) Clarksville TN, James Hopps (Leslie Hopps) Republic MO; Three Grand Children, Danielle ( Angie) Dustin (Paul Dustin) Columbus GA, Donald Robinson  Clarksville TN, Julie Robinson Riedle Clarksville TN; Seven Great Grand Children, Tegyn Dustin  Columbus GA, Tyler Perkin  US NAVY, Landon Wall  Clarksville TN, Colton Riedle  Clarksville TN, Rebecca Perry Johnson City TN, Heather Perry Johnson City TN and Brock Perry Johnson City TN.

Charlotte was Married at 18 to Theodore Kitchen (died 1954) in a Trucking accident. They had 1 Child Lois Kitchen Greider. Shortly after she went to beauty school and worked as a hair dresser for many years. 6 yrs later she married Charles Hopps and had 1 son, James Hopps. After 23 yrs were Divorced. Later marrying Gerald Wilson (11-21-1937 to 10-29-2016) on 11-8-1990. They moved from Livonia MI to Coldwater Mi. later moving to Prudenville MI (Houghton Lake) MI. After Jerrys passing in 2016 Charlotte moved with her daughter Lois in Clarksville TN in 2017. Her Daughter was with her when she passed.

Charlotte loved life. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, bowling, riding her Jet Ski and just living life in general. She help nurture the next 3 generations from her oldest grandchild (Angie) (45) to the youngest Great grandchild Colton (8). She always knew the value of family. Charlotte will always be a part of them and who they are.

Memorial Services will be held on July 27th 2020 at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville MI at 10:30 AM By Pastor Karen Blatt of Houghton Lake.

Our Family, like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one.

We Love and miss you mom, you will be our roots for many years to come.
