DeeAnn Carmen Schmidt

DeeAnn Carmen Schmidt, age 76, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019, at her residence.

DeeAnn was born August 23, 1943, in Britton, SD, to the late Elmer Carson and Muriel Bergh Carson. She grew up in South Dakota, and moved to Tennessee in 2018 from California.

Mrs. Schmidt was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her gardening and roses.

In keeping with her wishes, no public service is planned. Interment will be at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, in Nashville.

DeeAnn is survived by her husband, Raymond Schmidt; son, Christopher (Carrie) Schmidt of California; two daughters, Wendi (Eric) Hashimoto of California and Jill (James) Dockins of Clarksville; one brother, Lyndon (Dottie) Carson of Wyoming; and four sisters, Janice Smith of Minnesota, Karen (Dennis) Hermansen of Wisconsin, Karol Plouffe of California, and Cheryl (Don) Wiseman of Minnesota; and four grandchildren, Cara Dockins, Quinn Dockins, Ella Schmidt, and Sarah Schmidt.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Carson; and one sister, Debra Carson Johnson.
