Dixie Jo Purcell

Dixie Jo Purcell, age 83, of Cunningham, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.

Dixie was born August 24, 1937, in Gibson Co., IN, to the late Max Keene and Uleta Sevier Keene. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Lee Purcell, son, Michael Purcell, daughter, Becky Purcell and sister, Diane Sue Keene.

She was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, January 11, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Gregg Jones officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 11, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Purcell is survived by two sons, Randall (Susan) Purcell and Ricky (Emma) Purcell; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
