Donald William Whitley

Donald William Whitley, age 60, of Palmyra, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021, at Centennial Medical Center.

Donald was born September 12, 1961, in High Point, NC, to the late Donald Whitley and Barbara Lyree Whitley. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Hall Whitley; and two brothers, Randall Lee Whitley and William Mark Poage.

He is survived by two sons, Ian Bretz and Lucas Bretz; daughter, Ariana Whitley and her husband, Mark Hayes; one brother, Keith Douglas Poage; two sisters, Lori Poage Jackson and Brenda Lee Baird; and six grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, November 11, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. John Mark Thomas officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, from 1:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
