Dr. Frank McGuire Hodgson

Dr. Frank McGuire Hodgson, 81, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at his residence.

Frank was born on June 12, 1937, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Lee Miller Hodgson and Olivia Mosely Hodgson. 

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Meghan Holland officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the Parish Hall. There will be a reception following the service at the church.

Frank was a retired educator with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and former vestry member at Trinity Episcopal Church. He was an adjunct professor at Austin Peay State University and founded the Education Foundation at the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.

Frank is survived by his wife, Jan Gibson Hodgson of Clarksville, TN; son, Sean McGuire Hodgson (Annette) of Marietta, GA; daughter, Shannon Hodgson Whisenant (Ron) of Jackson, TN; sister, Albertine Baker of Frederick, MD; and four grandchildren, Eric Whisenant, Helen Whisenant, Maguire Hodgson, and Julia Hodgson.
