Gisela Maria Kowalsky Williams, age 69, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017, at her residence. 

Gisela was born December 24, 1947, in Heppenheim, Germany, to the late Peter Kowalsky and Katharina Schmitt Kowalsky. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rhinehard Kowalsky.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, October 6, at 10:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Burris officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be Friday, October 6, from 8:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Gisela is survived by her husband, John Harold Williams; three daughters, Michelle McMillian of Mobile, AL, Susanne Williams of Maumelle, AR, and Brenda Mosentoff of Richland, NJ; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers, the family lovingly requests that donations be made, in memory of Madison Kay Lanway, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
