Horace Thomas Burgess, Jr.

Horace Thomas Burgess, Jr., age 79, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at St. Thomas West Hospital. 

Horace was born June 17, 1939, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Horace Burgess, Sr. and Nettie Mae Butts Burgess. He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Andrew Burgess. 
Mr. Burgess was retired from Trane Company. 

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 20, at 12:00 PM, at Sunnyview Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Shaun Trescott officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at Sunnyview Baptist Church. 

Horace is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Faye Metcalfe Burgess; son, Andy (Christy) Burgess; daughter, Angel (Timmy) Deem; four grandchildren, April (Jason) French, Damon (Mariah) Burgess, Rance (Alexis) Burgess, and Brittnye Jones; and five great grandchildren, Collin French, Christalyn Brock, Addilynn Burgess, Easton Burgess, and River Burgess.
