James Ray Melton

James Ray Melton, age 71, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Skyline Medical Center.

James was born November 30, 1946, in Clarksville, TN, to the late James Melton and Bessie Elliott Stewart.  He was a US Army veteran, having served in Korea.  Mr. Melton was later a surgical nurse with the Veterans Administration.

Visitation will be Friday, October 12, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at Sango Cemetery, with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. 

James is survived by two sisters, Carolyn (Danny) Bradley and Rhea (Tommy) Binkley; two nieces, Lucinda Cawley and Jennifer (Brian) Stinson; and two nephews, Travis (Kim) May and Justin May.
