James Kristopher Sturkie

James Kristopher Sturkie, age 36, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020.

James was born June 16, 1983, in Clarksville, TN. He was a full-time student at Nashville State Community College. Mr. Sturkie was also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 25, at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Bobbie Martin officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, January 25, from 1:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

James is survived by his mother, K. Dawn Sturkie of Clarksville; two aunts, Wendy (Ed) Walsh and Janet (Tony) Joiner; and four cousins, Sally Walsh, Paul Walsh, J. Brent Joiner, and Megan Joiner. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James L. Sturkie and Kathryn Head Sturkie.
