Joan Everitt Perry, age 83, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Whitehaven Assisted Living Home, in Adams.

Joan was born July 25, 1936, in Sunflower County, MS, to the late Robert Dewey Everitt and Mattie May Payne Everitt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Perry.

Mrs. Perry graduated from Mississippi College. She was a member of Unity of Nashville. Joan was a Metro school teacher and a licensed Unity minister.

Services are to be announced.

Joan is survived by three children, Cathy Sprayberry-Gravitt, Robert Everitt (Ambra) Perry, and Harold Lee (Rhonda Laird) Perry; seven grandchildren, Caleb Sprayberry, Micala Gravitt, Elijah Perry, Ayana Perry, Everitt Perry, Morgan Perry, and Chelsea McCollom; and two great grandchildren, Oliver Sprayberry and Dahlia McCollom.
