Joe Jefferson Robinson

Joe Jefferson Robinson, age 90, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at Ahava Healthcare.

Joe was born January 14, 1930 in Virginia, to the late James Robinson and Nannie Belle Cook Robinson.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Robinson; one son, Jeffery Wayne Robinson; two brothers, James Robinson, George Robinson; six sisters, Mary Tribbett, Bonnie Evans, Lillie Boyd and Virginia Lewis.

Joe worked for TVA for 7 years before going on to work at Fort Campbell as an Electrical Supervisor. He worked for 30 years and retired at 58. He loved to play golf and go on trips with his many friends. He was also very active with the Shriners.

Joe is survived by one daughter, Connie (Fulton) Wilson; two sisters, Alice (J.T) Riggs, Bertha Gunter; two sis-n-laws, Phyllis Robinson, Imogene Robinson; three grandchildren, Mike (Lisa) Wilson, Joe (Tracy) Wilson, Kristin (Chad) Carobene; five great grandchildren, Sam Wilson, Hadley Wilson, Emma Wilson, Wyatt Carobene and Isabella Carobene.

A graveside service will be held, Friday, September 25, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Sango Cemetery with Pastor Roger Powell officiating.

Pallbearers will be Mike Wilson, Joe Wilson, Sam Wilson, Chad Carobene, Jimmy Robinson and Phillip Robinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 478 Craighead St.  #200, Nashville, TN 37204.
