Johnny Carroll Wilson

Johnny Carroll Wilson, age 68, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Tennova Healthcare.

Johnny was born April 21, 1954, in Clarksville, TN to the late Carl "Pedo" Wilson and Clara Elizabeth Call.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his life partner, Minney Mitchell; daughter, Alice (Hank) Tripp; step daughter, Tiffany Williams; sister, Sherry (Robby) McMillan; nephews, Mike(Cindy)Thomas, Chris McMillan, John McMillan; great nieces, Sloane Thomas and Kim Thomas; grandchildren, Donja Tripp and Duncan Tripp.

Johnny was known for his love of music and his incredible sense of humor. Mr. Wilson retired after 41 diligent years at Trane. Johnny was a notable mentor after 28 years of sobriety. Mr. Wilson's love and loyalty was always apparent through his daily interactions and conversations. He truly had a heart of gold and will be missed by his family, friends, and notable mentions of his beloved cat , Baby Girl and dog, Harmony. 

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, hosted by Rex and Tammy Cheatham, located at 911 York Road, Clarksville, TN 37042, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
