Joseph Ray Whitlow

Joseph Ray Whitlow, 85, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville.

Joe was born on August 1, 1933, in Portia, AR to the late Joseph Whitlow and Opal Harris Whitlow. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Whitlow; brother, Michael Whitlow; and sister, Iris Dubey.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Joe was a retired SSGT with the U.S. Air Force. He was also retired owner of Whitlow's Cabinet Shop.

Joe is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ione Stevens Whitlow; three daughters, Candy (Terry) Fain, Jill Hardy, and Jodi (Darrell) Vaughn; son, Jeff Whitlow; niece, Renee (Gene) Reed; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joey Davis, Greg Lyle, Terry Fain, Jr., Joseph Smith, Michael Hardy-Thelen, and Eric Hardy. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Vaughn and Terry Fain.
