Joyce Rivers (Walker) Morrow

Joyce Rivers Morrow, age 80, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019, at Tennova Healthcare. 

Joyce was born December 5, 1938, in Cheatham County, TN, to the late Clovis Monroe Walker and Birdie Lehman Walker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, E.W. Morrow, Jr.; three brothers, Monroe Walker, Jr., James Walker, and Johnny Walker; two sisters, Flo Underwood and Ivey Walker; and one granddaughter, Savannah Lee Moseley. 

Joyce, along with her husband, was the retired owner of Morrow's Furniture City. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 12, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, January 11, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, January 12, from 9:30 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Joyce is survived by two daughters, Paula Moseley of Clarksville and Connie (Charlie) Householder of Seymour, TN; seven sisters, Susan Boyce of Clarksville, Ann Ragan of Greeneville, TN, Marie Holt of Clarksville, Jewell Morrow of Clarksville, Shirley Simmons of Clarksville, Anita Clark of Buchanan, TN, and Nancy Grubb of Clarksville; grandson, Joshua Sullivan; and great granddaughter, Peyton Grace Sullivan. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hilldale Baptist Church, 2001 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37043.
