Lillian "Lily" Ann (Holder) Rufo

Lillian “Lily” Ann Rufo, 80, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020, at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville.

Lily was born May 21, 1939, in Union City, NJ to the late Alan Holder and Mildred Krsek Holder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo “Ed” Rufo and two brothers, Paul Holder and Johnny Holder.

Private Memorial Service will be held on February 1, 2020.

Lily was a retired elementary school teacher and English Teacher abroad. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Guthrie, KY. She was an accomplished cook, bridge player, bowler, and fisherman. She loved to entertain family and friends. She loved music, animals, and celebrating her favorite holiday (Christmas). She was a devoted Catholic, full of charm and graced her family and friends with her generosity.

Lily is survived by six children, Robert (Trish) Johansen, Andrea (Mike) Lombardi, Martin (Isabel) Rufo, Lia (Adrian Repollo) Faure, Elizabeth Rufo, and Jessica Rufo; three brothers, Joseph Holder, Alan Holder, and Richard Holder; two sisters, Mildred Bullerdick and Eve Donnelly; nine grandchildren, Eric, Alex, Jessica, Bryan, Clara, Julia, Kevin, Alex, and Maxi; and nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended loving family in Argentina.
