Maj. (Ret.) William "Bill" H. Coke, age 75, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, at Tennova Healthcare.
Bill was born June 24, 1947, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Robert Coke and Gladys Scarborough Coke. He was also preceded in death by one brother, David Coke.
Mr. Coke is survived by his wife, Kerstin Warren Coke; three daughters, Stephanie Adams, Brittany (Travis) Normile, and Courtney Coke; two brothers, Edward Coke and Robert Roth; sister, Rachel Cotham; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Bill was retired from the US Army, having served 23 years, and he later retired from Civil Service. He was the founder of Clarksville Corvette Club and a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church. Mr. Coke was also a member of VFW Post 1913, German Shepherd Dog Club of America, Studabaker Club, founding member of the TriStar Kennel Club of Williamson County, the National Rifle Association, and Commemorative Air Force.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 1, at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, where full military honors will be rendered. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
