Mark Allen McHenry

Mark Allen McHenry, age 64, of Cumberland Furnace, TN, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019, at Centennial Medical Center.

Mark was born February 7, 1955, in Buckhannon, WV, to the late Randolph Herman McHenry and Ann Marguarite McHenry. He was also preceded in death by two infant children, Debra Charlene McHenry and Charles Randolph McHenry; and one brother, Darius McHenry.

Mr. McHenry was a devoted family man. He was a US Army veteran and an avid hunter. Mark enjoyed farming and was a barterer at heart. He was a caring man, who would do anything for anyone and was always there when you needed him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, November 27, at 2:00 PM, at Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 27, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service, at the church. Interment will be held at a later date, in West Virginia.

Mark is survived by his wife of 40 years, Connie McHenry; son, Mark Allen (Carly) McHenry II; daughter, Megan Ann Jones; six siblings, Norma (Boyd) Malcolm, Charlotte (Gene) Kline, Wilma McHenry, Paulette (Jim) Lowe, David (Jenny) McHenry, and Daniel (Kathy) McHenry; and eight grandchildren, Kailey McHenry, Caden McHenry, Emma McHenry, Theo Jones, Seth Jones, D'Andre Jones, D'Asia Robinson, and Selena Robinson.
