Maxine (Sadler) Burge

Maxine Burge, age 101, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018. 

Maxine was born November 15, 1916. Originally from Trenton, KY, she was a Clarksville resident for 73 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Colby Sadler and Ella Bryant Sadler; her husband, Howard W. Burge II; son, Howard W. Burge III; and a granddaughter, Victoria (Vicki) Hicks Atkins. 

Maxine was a nurse at Clarksville Memorial Hospital for over 35 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 10, at 2:30 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Dr. Felts Dent officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, in Trenton, KY. Visitation will be Saturday, March 10, from 11:00 AM until the time of service, at the funeral home. 

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Wade) Richardson of Clarksville; granddaughter, Trudy (Johnny) Jackson of Clarksville; five great grandchildren: Kelly (Jim) Deraney, Greg Field, Lauren (Russell) Milam, Mackenzie Jackson, Austin Jackson; one great-great grandson, Bennett Deraney. She is also survived by one of eleven Sadler siblings, Jewel Johnston, of Ormond Beach, FL.
