Nancy Thompson Beaudoin, age 85, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation, in Clarksville, TN.
Nancy was born March 20, 1932, in Clarksville, TN to the late James Lawrence and Carrie Blackwell Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard (Len) Beaudoin.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 8 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 9 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at Antioch United Methodist Church. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church with burial following.
Nancy was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher in the Children's department and was the Memorial Fund secretary for many years. Nancy also worked side by side with her husband for many years at their business, Len's Custom Printing.
Nancy is survived by a son, James Leonard Beaudoin (Pam) of Old Hickory, TN; a daughter, Carolyn Pierce (Don) of Clarksville, TN; a brother, James Harold Thompson (Peggy) of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Leslie Pionke (John) of Murfreesboro, TN, Adam Groves (Jennifer) of Clarksville, TN, Mark Pierce of Nashville, TN, Taylor Beaudoin of Hermitage, TN, and Derek Beaudoin of Sanger, TX; and great-grandchildren, Alexandria Groves, Elisabeth Groves, Joseph Groves, Olivia Groves, Mary Catherine Groves, and McKenna Pionke.
Pallbearers will be Don Pierce, Adam Groves, Mark Pierce, Derek Beaudoin, John Pionke, and Steve Thompson.
The family wishes to thank Nancy's many caretakers: Kristy Jackson, Faye Slate, Tammy Atkins, Brooke Jackson, Jean Fausset, Becky Abell, all who provided care in the home for three years. Also, a huge thanks to the nurses, aides, and staff at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation and to the nurses, aides, and staff at AseraCare Hospice, who provided loving care for almost two years. Words cannot express our gratitude.
