Nora Jane (Terry) Corbin

Nora Jane Terry Corbin died on September 19, 2023, at age 87 in Maryville, Tenn. She was the daughter of Lewis Homer Terry and Bertha Mai Hodges Terry of Clarksville, Tenn., where she was born and raised. She graduated from Clarksville High School in 1955. In the 1960s she and her husband moved to Maryville, Tenn., where she worked for the Retail Credit Association for many years. Eventually she became the office manager, a position she held until it closed in 1991. She was predeceased by her parents, by her brother, Bobby Lewis Terry, and by her former husband, William O. (Bill) Corbin. She is survived by her nephews and niece, Bobby Lewis Terry, Jr., Sherry Suzanne Knight, and Gregory Joseph Terry, all of Clarksville, by devoted caregivers, Carolyn and Julia Hendrix, and by her beloved cat, Mia. An interment service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, at 1:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville. Arrangements by Neal-Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home, Clarksville.
