Phillip Henry Richmond

Phillip Henry Richmond, 66, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Phillip was born on August 18, 1951, in Columbus, OH to the late Sylvester Richmond and Iantha Mundell Richmond. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, V'lorea Ruffin, Thelma Smith, Elinor Love, and Phyllis Sutton.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Gwanho Kim officiating. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY with full military honors. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Phillip was a retired U.S. Army Veteran. He was a devoted Husband, Father, and Papa. He loved Jesus.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Pok Sun Richmond of Clarksville, TN; son, Phillip (Reagan) Richmond II of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Kimberly (Darwin) Whaley of Memphis, TN and Phyllis (Anthony) Rosinski of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, William Richmond of Grove City, OH and Franklin Richmond of Columbus, OH; and two sisters, Charlotte Donaldson and Ellen Davidson of Columbus, OH; and seven grandchildren, Keyonna James, Kaylah Whaley, Darwin Whaley, Jr., Kennedy Whaley, Parker Mosley, Isabella Richmond, and Preston Rosinski.
