Richard William Mackdanz

Richard William Mackdanz, 84, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Signature Healthcare of Clarksville.

Richard was born on December 25, 1933, in Lewiston, ID to the late Arnold Mackdanz and Dorothy Zier Mackdanz. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Mackdanz and sister, Phyllis Corning.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Kent Holz officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Richard was retired from Trane Company. He was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

Richard is survived by two sons, David (Cindy) Mackdanz and James (Gina) Mackdanz; daughter, Carol (Mike) Sink; brother, Dale Mackdanz; six grandchildren, James (Chasity) Sink, Brooke (Brent) Steinsultz, Sarah Mackdanz, Jordan Mackdanz, Madison Mackdanz, and Anna Mackdanz; and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dave Ross, Eddie White, Merle Goodall, Daniel Lane, Mike Rathge, Larry Flowers, Kevin Murphy, and Joshua Geer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2526 Whitfield Road, Clarksville, TN 37040.
