Ronald Kirk Schneider’s soul left his physical body Friday, April 9, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey to Louis Schneider and Marie Pauls in 1938, he was raised in Texas with his brother Lou by his mother and step-father, Waldo Rickett. Ronald, or Ron, served our country for 20 years in the United States Air Force as a part of the Strategic Air Command. After leaving the Air Force, he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Theological and Biblical Studies. A talented, self-taught singer with a resonant baritone voice, he was able to bless and bring joy to anyone who wanted to listen. His favorite thing to do was travel, which he did for many years as a long haul over the road truck driver. Throughout his life, he maintained friendships all over the world and loved to share stories of the family he loved, the friendships he cherished, and his experiences.
He leaves behind his four daughters and their families; Rommy and husband Tom, Rochelle and husband Jay, Ronda, and Roni and husband Kevin. He was blessed with eight grandchildren; Tiffany, Cornelius, Brad, Rain, Mikaila, Jaxson, Isabella, Teygan, Meg, and Jack as well as, two great grandchildren; Azreal and Emma. He is remembered and loved by his many friends from around the world and particularly by his neighbors at Uffleman’s Estates.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating.
Though Ronald’s body will be put to rest in the Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery, his soul resides with God, his memory in the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy with those who loved him.
