Terry Lee Carlisle, faithful Christian, devoted wife, amazing mother, sister and friend left this earth from her home, surrounded by her loved ones on February 10, 2018.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 14, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Terry will be laid to rest at Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Wednesday, February 14, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.  

Born October 22, 1954, Terry was the daughter of Henry Franklin Smith and Barbara Snyder Smith. She grew up in Montgomery County with her siblings, Belinda (Bobby) Powell, Beverly (Mark) Donato, Mark (Ramona) Smith, and Teresa (Terry) Mizer. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, sister Beverly and infant twin brother, Bucky. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Joy Carlisle, whom she loved. 

Terry was married to Rick Carlisle for 42 years. Together they had two wonderful daughters, of whom she was extremely proud, Crystal Carroll and Roshae Harrison, both of Clarksville. "Mrs. C" also loved her sons-in-law, Ben Carroll and Chris Harrison. "Grammy" cherished her three grandchildren, Haley Harrison, Carson Carroll, and Mallory Carroll. Family and friends often told of the unwavering affection she had for her family. 

She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church for thirty years, where she served as GA teacher and VBS volunteer over the years. She was saved and devoted her life to her Lord and Savior on October 7, 1987. Terry suffered many health issues including her recent battle with cancer, but she never doubted God's control over the situations and faced each struggle with courage. She was a true fighter. 

Terry worked at Jostens over 40 years. She enjoyed the friendships she made with her coworkers over the years. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Greco for his commitment to caring for Terry throughout her cancer treatments. Also to her Caris caregivers, Ashley and Angel, and the other team members, for seeing us through her final days. 

Serving as pallbearer will be Chris Harrison, Ben Carroll, Farshod Kayyod, Mark Smith, Mark Smith II, Jacob Smith, and Ken Ozier.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at the American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203.
