Lonnie always greeted everyone at Kiwanis with a smile and a good handshake. I have missed those greetings since I left the club. He was also wonderful in his business. Many times he helped members of my family get through the tough times of losing a loved one. Rest in peace, Lonnie. Jeannie and I will miss you.

May you find comfort in the hope you have in Christ as you honor your dad and grandfather at this time. May that hope and memories sustain you in the days to come.

Beverly,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad and wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Your Dad was such a precious man with a kind and gentle spirit. I still have some very fond memories of actually spending time with you and your Dad at the funeral home on some of our weekend get-togethers during our elementary and middle school days. (Precious times for which I will always be grateful.) Just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you and may you find some comfort in knowing that many present - and past - friends are earnestly praying for you and your family. Hugs and love, dear friend - Donna

Hugs and prayers to all of Lonnie's family. My daddy, Malcolm Fuqua worked with Lonnie for many years. Our family thought the world of Lonnie, and I certainly appreciate everything that he and his wife Judy did for me when I lost my daughter in 1986. God bless you and comfort you!
