Jim Hall was like a father to me. My fondest memories of being a teenager was traveling with Jim and Wanda, camping, fishing, exploring the world. I remember being in the VW, in the back seat with Pam, in Florida, when we heard on the radio that "Man walked on the Moon". He pulled over so we could all look up at the moon. That was a very special time. I know the times spent with him taught me the value of seeing the world and the love of travel. I'm very grateful I was able to spend time with him at the VA center in July. I'm sorry I'm not able to come now, but I am comforted in knowing I can visit him and Wanda, and my parents, Kirby and Judy Johnson, as they are all put to rest at the Kentucky VEterans cemetery. Thank you Pam for sharing your dad with me, I will always treasure the times we had together. Sending love and prayers from Debbie, Steve, Jenny, La'akea, and Matthew.
